Responsibilities
- Analyze federal healthcare datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for program optimization
- Develop and maintain automated reporting dashboards using SQL, Python, and Tableau
- Ensure compliance with federal data security standards (HIPAA, FISMA) and documentation protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to design data collection methodologies
- Present findings to senior leadership through executive summaries and visualizations
- Lead data quality improvement initiatives across departmental systems
- Support policy development by providing quantitative analysis and predictive modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems and compliance requirements
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
