Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and patterns in border security operations
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI for executive decision-making
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, NIST standards)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational planning and resource allocation
- Prepare detailed analytical reports and recommendations for senior leadership
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for real-time processing
- Stay current on emerging data technologies and methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal data analysis or similar regulated environment
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
