Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical methods
- Develop automated reporting dashboards for senior leadership and congressional briefings
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards including FISMA, HIPAA, and DoD regulations
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement data governance frameworks and quality controls
- Present findings to stakeholders through executive summaries and visualizations
- Support audit preparations and maintain comprehensive data documentation
- Identify trends and anomalies using predictive modeling techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in federal government or regulated industry data analysis
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of federal data privacy laws and security protocols
- Certification in CompTIA Data+ or equivalent federal data credentials
- Experience with DoD systems or federal cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive data with appropriate clearances
