Responsibilities
- Manage incoming correspondence, emails, and mail, distributing them to the appropriate federal departments.
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of documents.
- Assist senior staff in the preparation of reports, memos, and presentations.
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and direct inquiries to the correct personnel.
- Perform general data entry tasks and proofread documents for accuracy and compliance with federal standards.
- Support grant administration activities and assist with budget tracking as needed.
- Ensure the office environment remains clean, organized, and professional.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
