Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of clinical departments ensuring compliance with federal healthcare regulations
- Manage budgets exceeding $2M and optimize resource allocation for patient care services
- Coordinate with federal agencies for policy implementation and regulatory audits
- Lead cross-functional teams to improve veterans' healthcare access and outcomes
- Develop strategic plans for service expansion in underserved communities
- Ensure HIPAA and VA protocol adherence across all departmental activities
- Analyze performance metrics to drive continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related federal compliance field
- 5+ years of experience in federal healthcare systems or VA facilities
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- GS-12-level experience with federal budget management protocols
- Expertise in Veterans Affairs healthcare regulations and policies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in federal compliance reporting
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA-specific certifications
- U.S. citizenship required per federal employment guidelines
