Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with federal HIPAA standards
- Process veterans' medical documentation with 99.9% accuracy
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely record updates
- Generate monthly compliance reports for federal audits
- Train new staff on EHR systems and federal record-keeping protocols
- Respond to veterans' record requests within 24-hour SLA
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field
- 2+ years experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Federal HIPAA certification required
