Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and clinical support services during weekend shifts
- Assist with patient intake, vital sign monitoring, and specimen collection
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary care teams for seamless patient transitions
- Ensure strict adherence to federal healthcare protocols and safety standards
- Support facility operations during off-peak hours to maintain service continuity
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in healthcare or related field (or equivalent military experience)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (e.g., CPRS, VistA)
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- Strong communication skills and cultural competence in veteran care
