Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of a 500-bed VA medical center with 1,200+ staff members
- Develop and implement healthcare policies compliant with federal regulations (VA, HIPAA, JCAHO)
- Manage $150M+ annual budget allocation and resource optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams including medical, nursing, and administrative departments
- Drive quality improvement initiatives achieving 95%+ patient satisfaction scores
- Coordinate with federal partners including DoD and CMS for integrated care delivery
- Ensure compliance with VA directives and OMB Circular A-123 requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare management experience in federal/government setting
- Active VA or federal healthcare administration certification preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in VA-specific regulations and healthcare compliance
- Strong financial acumen with experience in federal budget management
- Ability to obtain and maintain Tier 3 federal security clearance
- U.S. citizenship and unrestricted work authorization
