Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of healthcare facility ensuring compliance with federal VA standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategic policies to enhance patient care delivery and operational efficiency.
- Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and procurement processes.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including medical staff, nurses, and administrative personnel.
- Conduct performance evaluations, staff training, and compliance audits.
- Collaborate with federal agencies on healthcare initiatives and policy development.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA, VA directives, and Joint Commission standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare administration experience, federal or VA background highly desirable.
- Active U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance.
- Proficiency in healthcare IT systems (EHR, VistA) and federal compliance tools.
