Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and maternal/child health
- Manage $2M+ annual budgets with rigorous fiscal accountability
- Lead cross-functional teams of epidemiologists, health educators, and community liaisons
- Develop data-driven health equity assessments and intervention strategies
- Collaborate with state agencies (KY Cabinet for Health & Family Services) and federal partners (CDC)
- Oversee compliance with federal/state regulations (HIPAA, OMB Uniform Guidance)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or related field
- 5+ years managing public health programs with budget oversight
- Experience with CDC grant writing and federal reporting requirements
- Strong proficiency in health data analytics (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Knowledge of Kentucky public health regulations and local health district operations
- PHR or CPH certification preferred
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
