Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal information systems and networks in compliance with FISMA standards.
- Analyze complex IT requirements and provide technical solutions that align with federal regulations and agency objectives.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and security compliance reviews to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and upgrade legacy federal infrastructure.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for mission-critical applications and hardware.
- Document system configurations, processes, and incident reports in accordance with federal record-keeping standards.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one) is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent military experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal IT environments or contracting.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Familiarity with DoD instruction 8570.01-M and associated certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CISSP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and stakeholder briefings.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable background investigation.
