Responsibilities
- Manage Federal IT Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems, servers, and hardware to ensure optimal performance for federal clients.
- Security Compliance: Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols in compliance with federal standards (FISMA, NIST) to protect sensitive data and prevent cyber threats.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support to internal teams and external federal stakeholders, resolving complex issues efficiently.
- System Upgrades: Plan and execute software and hardware upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations and adhering to project timelines.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, configuration records, and incident reports.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and developers, to deliver integrated technology solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or government IT environments, including experience with SharePoint, Active Directory, and cloud services.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to system maintenance.
