Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT systems including network infrastructure, databases, and cybersecurity protocols
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive government data against cyber threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions aligned with federal compliance standards
- Provide technical support and training to federal employees on IT systems and security best practices
- Conduct system audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure operational integrity
- Develop disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies for critical IT assets
- Stay current with federal IT policies including NIST guidelines and FISMA requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal IT systems administration or cybersecurity
- Active Security+ CE or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network administration (Cisco, VMware) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with federal IT frameworks including FedRAMP and NIST SP 800-53
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
