Responsibilities
- System Administration: Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and hardware systems.
- Cybersecurity: Implement and monitor security measures to protect federal information systems and data.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support and guidance to agency staff regarding hardware, software, and network operations.
- Project Management: Lead IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring compliance with federal standards and deadlines.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors for hardware/software procurement and maintenance services.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, security protocols, and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; OR equivalent experience (typically 4+ years).
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Cisco networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible IT experience in a federal or corporate environment.
