- Design, develop, and maintain secure IT systems and networks for federal operations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits.
- Provide technical training and guidance to junior staff members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration or cybersecurity.
- Proficiency with network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong understanding of federal IT regulations and compliance standards (e.g., FISMA).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
