Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for federal government agencies.
- Conduct regular system vulnerability assessments and apply necessary security patches to mitigate risks.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate closely with government stakeholders to translate technical requirements into actionable solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, including FISMA and NIST standards.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate records of system configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (4 years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree).
- Active Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or complex enterprise systems.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V).
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, disaster recovery planning, and ITIL best practices.
