Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive federal investigations into criminal activities and security threats
- Collect and analyze forensic evidence, surveillance data, and financial records
- Collaborate with DOJ attorneys, US Attorneys, and law enforcement partners nationwide
- Prepare detailed investigative reports and testify in federal court proceedings
- Implement risk mitigation strategies for sensitive national security matters
- Maintain strict adherence to federal regulations and chain-of-custody protocols
- Lead multi-agency task forces for complex, cross-jurisdictional cases
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain Top Secret)
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in federal/state law enforcement or investigations
- Proficiency in forensic software, data analysis tools, and surveillance techniques
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Expert knowledge of federal criminal procedures and evidence collection
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and courtroom testimony skills
- Ability to pass rigorous background investigation and polygraph examination
