Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of federal IT projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate with federal stakeholders, contractors, and technical teams to ensure project requirements are met and aligned with agency objectives.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, providing accurate financial reports and forecasting to senior management.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, including FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and agency-specific security protocols.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to keep initiatives on track.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and stakeholder briefings to maintain transparency and alignment across the organization.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT project management within a federal or government contracting environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in PMI methodologies (PMP or CAPM certification is highly desirable).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal IT infrastructure, cybersecurity standards, and software development lifecycles.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
