Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain federal cybersecurity protocols (NIST/FISMA compliance)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and respond to incidents
- Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Collaborate with federal agencies on security intelligence sharing
- Manage access control systems and user authentication protocols
- Prepare compliance reports for OMB and congressional oversight
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in federal IT security roles
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in Windows/Linux system hardening
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Knowledge of CMMC framework and DoD security requirements
