Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain DoD cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Develop incident response protocols and lead security breach mitigation
- Oversee network monitoring using SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Coordinate with federal agencies on security policy implementation
- Train personnel on cybersecurity best practices and protocols
- Manage security access controls and encryption systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of IT security experience in government or regulated industry
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- DoD 8570.01-M compliance (IAT Level II or higher)
- Experience with NIST SP 800-53 security controls
- Secret security clearance (must obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud security
