Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust network security protocols across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified infrastructure
- Develop incident response plans for cybersecurity breaches
- Manage security information and event management (SIEM) systems
- Ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA security standards
- Train federal personnel on cybersecurity best practices
- Coordinate with US-CERT on threat intelligence sharing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT security operations
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification required
- Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Experience with CMMC compliance frameworks
- Knowledge of federal procurement processes (FAR/DFARS)
