As a key member of our Nashville-based cybersecurity unit, you'll implement advanced security protocols and respond to emerging threats during off-peak hours. The position requires weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday) with full remote work capability.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity incidents during weekend shifts
- Implement and maintain security controls for federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Document security incidents and remediation activities
- Collaborate with cross-agency security teams during weekend operations
- Stay current with evolving cyber threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with federal systems
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Experience with NIST and FISMA compliance frameworks
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and threat detection platforms
