Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT systems for veteran healthcare applications
- Lead cybersecurity protocols and vulnerability assessments across federal networks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance
- Manage cloud infrastructure migration and hybrid cloud solutions
- Provide technical guidance on federal IT compliance standards (FISMA, NIST)
- Train staff on new technologies and security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT infrastructure management
- Active Security+ CE certification or equivalent
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure cloud platforms and DevOps tools
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data security
- Experience with federal procurement processes (FAR/DFARS)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
