Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal IT systems in compliance with NIST standards and FISMA regulations
- Lead cybersecurity incident response protocols for agency infrastructure
- Design and implement cloud migration strategies for legacy systems
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on IT modernization projects
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Develop disaster recovery plans ensuring business continuity
- Mentor junior IT staff on federal compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active Security+ CE or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure cloud platforms and FedRAMP compliance
- Demonstrated experience with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
