Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal IT infrastructure systems and networks.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement necessary security patches to protect sensitive data.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for internal stakeholders and federal agencies.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, NIST standards, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation and reports for regulatory audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), and data encryption standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with senior leadership.
