Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT systems including servers, databases, and network infrastructure
- Implement cybersecurity protocols compliant with FISMA and NIST standards
- Provide technical support to 50+ federal staff across multiple departments
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and compliance audits
- Monitor system performance and proactively address vulnerabilities
- Train staff on new technologies and security best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in federal IT or government systems administration
- Active Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of federal IT security frameworks (FISMA, NIST SP 800-53)
- Experience with ITIL service management principles
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required
