Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal hardware and software systems.
- Ensure the integrity and security of federal networks and data centers in Jacksonville.
- Manage remote access protocols and troubleshoot connectivity issues for offsite federal employees.
- Perform routine maintenance, patch management, and system updates during off-hours (weekend shifts).
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations in compliance with federal standards.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to identify and mitigate potential threats.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Strong proficiency with remote desktop tools, Active Directory, and cloud services (Azure/ AWS).
- Must be willing and able to work rotating weekend shifts and holidays as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
