Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize federal IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud systems
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and other federal security protocols
- Provide technical support and training to VA medical staff on digital systems
- Coordinate system upgrades and cybersecurity initiatives for veteran healthcare facilities
- Document technical procedures and maintain system documentation per federal standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT project implementation
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570 compliance
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Azure cloud services
- Experience with HIPAA-compliant healthcare IT systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal IT security frameworks (NIST, FISMA)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
