Responsibilities
- Manage and secure VA's classified IT systems and networks
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for mission-critical applications
- Coordinate disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades
- Maintain compliance with FISMA and NIST standards
- Document technical procedures and security protocols
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years experience with federal IT systems
- Certification in CompTIA Security+ or CISSP
- Expertise in Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Experience with VA's VistA EHR system preferred
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance within 30 days
- Strong troubleshooting skills with cloud infrastructure
