Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of federal information systems. You will work closely with government stakeholders to deliver reliable IT solutions that meet strict federal standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal servers and network infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive government data from cyber threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits to ensure compliance with federal regulations (e.g., FISMA).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for federal staff and stakeholders.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports in accordance with ITIL standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and optimize existing systems.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT environments or information systems management.
- Certification preferred: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GS-09 series equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, server management, and cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for briefing senior leadership.
