Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain complex network infrastructure across federal facilities to ensure operational continuity.
- Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Enforce strict cybersecurity protocols, including FISMA compliance and NIST standards.
- Lead incident response teams to mitigate security breaches and system outages.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Provide high-level technical support and mentorship to junior staff members.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT systems administration within a government, defense, or critical infrastructure environment.
- Strong proficiency in TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, and firewall configuration (Cisco/Juniper).
- Certifications preferred: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Cisco CCNP.
