Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support for federal agency networks, hardware, and software systems.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to ensure strict compliance with FISMA and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions.
- Analyze system performance data and recommend optimizations to improve operational efficiency.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and system architectures accurately.
- Train junior staff and federal stakeholders on best practices for information security.
Qualifications
- Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for government employment.
- Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance or higher is mandatory.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments or similar high-security settings.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with senior leadership.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
