Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshooting for federal computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software within the VA IT infrastructure.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal cybersecurity protocols and NIST standards.
- Collaborate with team members to implement IT solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
- Conduct training for staff on new technologies and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related field.
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- U.S. Citizenship required; eligibility for a Federal Security Clearance.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
