Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain federal network infrastructure to ensure 99.9% system availability.
- Implement and monitor advanced cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Provide tier-2 technical support and troubleshooting for federal employees and contractors.
- Collaborate with project managers to upgrade legacy systems and deploy cloud solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for federal compliance audits (FISMA, NIST).
- Conduct regular system vulnerability assessments and security patch management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Public Trust or Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Experience with federal IT standards, ITIL framework, and cloud computing environments.
- Strong proficiency in network administration, Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a regulated government environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
