Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN) for federal facilities.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems in full compliance with FedRAMP and NIST standards.
- Monitor system performance and security logs to prevent unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Conduct regular system backups and execute disaster recovery planning exercises.
- Provide advanced technical support, training, and guidance to federal staff members.
- Ensure all system documentation and compliance reports are current and accurate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance or willingness to undergo investigation.
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network protocols (TCP/IP).
- Familiarity with federal compliance standards such as FISMA and DIACAP.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
