Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to manage, secure, and optimize federal information systems. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our government data and ensuring seamless operations for agency personnel.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure compliance with FISMA standards and federal regulations.
- Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues for federal staff with high priority response times.
- Conduct system performance analysis and perform routine system backups and updates.
- Document system configurations and prepare technical reports for Federal oversight bodies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing federal environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, data privacy laws, and federal compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
