Responsibilities
- System Analysis & Implementation: Design, develop, and implement IT systems and software solutions for federal agencies, ensuring alignment with strict government standards.
- Security Compliance: Monitor and maintain compliance with federal regulations, including FISMA, NIST, and OMB Circular A-130.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality IT projects on time and within budget.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Audit & Assessment: Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and internal audits to ensure data integrity and system security.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a government security clearance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT system administration or software development within a federal or government-contracted environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Python, SQL, and modern cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of federal IT security protocols and data privacy laws.
