Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain federal IT infrastructure systems during night shifts.
- Perform security patching and vulnerability assessments on servers.
- Respond to and resolve critical incidents reported by internal government agencies.
- Generate and maintain detailed operational logs and reports for compliance audits.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal information security standards (NIST/FISMA).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and network protocols.
- Must be available and willing to work the night shift schedule (e.g., 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
