Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal information systems to ensure 99.9% uptime and operational efficiency.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols in compliance with federal standards (FISMA, NIST).
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal staff and external federal partners.
- Document system configurations and update technical manuals for knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy software updates and hardware upgrades.
- Assist in the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud-based architectures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience with federal IT frameworks and government contracting regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
