Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal IT infrastructure including network systems, databases, and cloud platforms
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data and systems
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for federal employees and contractors
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on IT modernization projects and compliance initiatives
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans
- Monitor system performance and proactively address vulnerabilities
- Ensure all IT operations comply with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain Secret clearance)
- Proficiency in network security tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of federal IT compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST SP 800-53)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
