Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for federal network infrastructure and end-user devices.
- Monitor and maintain server systems, ensuring high availability and performance during off-hours.
- Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets and hardware/software issues for federal personnel.
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST security standards and federal IT regulations.
- Conduct regular security audits, patch management, and system backups.
- Document all technical incidents and resolutions in the CMDB.
- Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure seamless handover of critical issues.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or willingness to undergo a federal background investigation).
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical status.
- Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday (Weekend Shift).
