Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain federal IT systems during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Respond to security incidents and system alerts in real-time
- Perform system backups, updates, and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on cybersecurity protocols
- Document network activities and incident reports
- Ensure compliance with federal IT security standards (FISMA)
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of IT infrastructure or security experience
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Experience with federal IT systems (DOD, DHS, or similar)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
