Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain critical federal IT infrastructure systems during weekend operations.
- Conduct security assessments and implement compliance protocols to meet federal standards (FISMA).
- Respond to emergency alerts and system outages with rapid resolution times.
- Manage data backups, system patches, and software updates for on-premise servers.
- Collaborate with the Monday-Friday operations team to ensure seamless continuity of services.
- Document technical processes and report system performance metrics to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or defense IT environments.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and Virtualization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and federal compliance regulations.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced weekend environment.
