Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware and software systems.
- Implement and monitor network security measures to protect sensitive government data.
- Perform routine system backups, updates, and disaster recovery testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT infrastructure aligns with organizational goals.
- Provide technical support and training to staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration within a government or corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, Active Directory, and Windows Server environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
