Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for federal clients.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues in real-time.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including FISMA and NIST standards.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to protect sensitive data.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and end-users.
- Document system configurations, incident reports, and technical procedures accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into legacy systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Active Top Secret (TS) or Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph (or the ability to obtain one).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal or defense contracting environments.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
