Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for federal hardware, software, and network systems during weekends and holidays.
- Monitor server health and perform preventative maintenance to ensure 99.9% system uptime for agency operations.
- Enforce strict adherence to Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) compliance and security protocols.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and system changes in the IT Service Management (ITSM) database.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new federal workstations and peripherals.
- Collaborate with the on-call support team to resolve complex escalations efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess or be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent technical experience accepted.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation for site travel.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with government personnel and leadership.
