Role Overview
You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and security of federal IT systems. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and a commitment to government standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for federal government systems.
- Manage and secure network infrastructure, ensuring compliance with FedRAMP and NIST standards.
- Perform system maintenance, patch management, and backups during weekend shifts.
- Collaborate with on-site teams to resolve critical IT incidents and service requests.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Document all technical procedures and maintain accurate service logs.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret or Secret Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
