Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex IT issues for federal personnel during night shifts.
- Perform routine maintenance, patch management, and system backups to ensure 24/7 uptime.
- Enforce federal security policies and conduct compliance checks on workstations and servers.
- Respond to emergency tickets and incidents with a focus on rapid resolution and communication.
- Document all technical activities, incident reports, and change management logs accurately.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and project continuity.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (4 years of relevant experience may substitute).
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with federal IT frameworks such as NIST and FISMA.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent verbal/written communication abilities.
