Responsibilities
- Monitor federal networks for security threats and vulnerabilities
- Conduct forensic investigations of cybersecurity incidents
- Develop and implement security protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on threat intelligence sharing
- Prepare detailed incident reports and mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity regulations (FISMA, NIST)
- Train federal employees on security awareness protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of cybersecurity experience
- Active Security+ CE or CISSP certification required
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with threat detection and incident response
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- U.S. citizenship required
