Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain complex federal network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPN environments.
- Implement and enforce rigorous cybersecurity protocols and compliance standards (NIST, FISMA) to protect sensitive government data.
- Provide advanced tier-3 technical support and troubleshooting for internal systems and end-users.
- Manage user access control, identity management, and privilege auditing across the enterprise.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and integrate new technologies.
- Document all network configurations, changes, and incident reports according to federal guidelines.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship: Required for all federal positions (cannot be sponsored).
- Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one upon employment.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support or systems administration.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent technical certifications are strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and firewall management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent technical experience.
